With the Cetelem “Oxygène” programme,
Credito hase gone green !

So many people are talking about the environment, but doing so little. Today, Cetelem and Credito have chosen to commit to protecting our planet through the “Oxygène” programme!

Fighting against climate change means firstly reducing the greenhouse effect, through changing our behaviour on a daily basis.

In addition to a certain number of ecological practices developed in-house, Cetelem has called upon a well-known partner to join its team.

Cetelem invents Green Credit

By joining forces with GoodPlanet, the association presided over by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Cetelem is offering its customers the opportunity to consume differently. In fact, for each “green” product financed (purchase of a "clean" vehicle, low energy-consuming household appliances, household equipment using a renewable energy source…) Cetelem is giving 25 € to GoodPlanet.

A gift that allows the association to finance a project like the production of "green coal" in the region of Saint-Louis in Senegal. The aim of this mission is to produce “green” coal from agricultural residue or renewable biomass. Thus, the use of the domestic combustible works towards limiting deforestation and also greenhouse gas emissions. Every year, there are at least 5,000 tonnes of CO2 in the atmosphere!
